Interesting Points:
- Charles Scott certifies the information contained in the document as valid and accurate
- Charles Scott states that there are 11 full time officers employed by the Caddo Parish District Attorney's Office who have powers to arrest and apprehend
- Charles Scott certifies that the BATFE will be/has been informed of the acquisition of the weapons
- Charles Scott states that the reason his office needs the weapons: "This office recently staffed a Special Investigations Section which handles predominantly high profile and dangerous drug offenders. We routinely participate in high-risk surveillance and arrest activities with the Shreveport Police and Caddo Sheriff, and do not currently have the funds to provide rifles to those involved in these high risk activities." One would think that Sheriff Prator would be aware of the need for such guns by the ADA's and DA Investigators who were working with his office and under his authority as deputies.
